WELCOME to
THE DRAGONFLY INN

Such a pleasing place to light.

Let us complement your stay in Costa Rica with the same warmth and welcome we've enjoyed from our adopted country. You'll appreciate the comforting hospitality and genuine tranquility you find here. We appreciate your privacy and priorities.

The Dragonfly Inn
is a soft, easy way to transition from your travel to the unforgettable impressions of Costa Rica and a calm place to collect your memories as you pack for home, knowing you can always return to our welcome. Service is our promise.

We will happily assist you with introductions, information and coordination to smoothly advance or complete your travel planning, rental car or other transportation needs, real estate or other special interests.

The Dragonfly Inn is less than 10 minutes (really) from San Jose's Juan Santamaria International Airport.

Our hotelito is a traditional bed and breakfast in a spacious two-story colonial Tico home. It's modestly charming and always relaxed. Our four guest rooms can accommodate 12 persons most comfortably. Dragonfly Inn is a cozy opportunity to enjoy the good company of fellow travelers in attractive, very affordable lodging.

Just three blocks from Alajuela's peaceful La Trinidad Park, Dragonfly Inn is just a short five-minute cab ride from downtown Alajuela and Parque Central. The Calle Pan Americano / Pan American Highway and convenient bus stops (to downtown Alajuela and various other destinations) are literally right around the corner.

Your complimentary breakfast includes your choice of refreshing fruits, eggs to order, delicious homemade gallo pinto, hot tortillas or bread, condiments, coffee or tea. From time to time, the menu includes hot pancakes, plantains or homemade baked goods.
